Rev. Brad, Blonnie, and Aaron Smith
Pastor Brad and Blonnie Smith have been married since July 21, 2001. They have a one year old named Aaron Elijah and a new baby due in April of 2009. Pastor Brad was saved as a child at Lewisville First Assembly of God,called to preach at the age of 14, and filled with the Holy Spirit. At the age of 16, Bro. Brad ran from the call of God on his life and backslid away from God until the age of 18. It was during these times of being away from God that Blonnie came into his life. Although Blonnie had went to church some as a child, she was not saved. In September of 2001, a few short months after their wedding, God totally wrecked their plans. Through a series of unfortunate events such as 9/11/2001 and through six months of undiagnosed personal sickness, God brought a backslider back to Christ on the side of his sickbed, He saved a sinner and made her a daughter of Christ, and brought divine healing to a very sick body. Today, Pastor Brad relates his sickness to Jonah and the agony that he endured running from the call of God. Just like Jonah, the word of the Lord "came again" to Bro Brad. Since September of 2001, Pastor Brad and Blonnie have been serving God with all their hearts. They have served in various capacities in the church, and today they are going after a generation as student pastors. It is their desire for every teenager they meet to get saved, discipled, water baptized, filled with the Holy Ghost, and placed into ministry.
